Wrote lyrics in a nostalgic moment thinking about my kids growing up. Stashed the lyrics for a while and then later came up with the music which turned it into a rocker.

Visiting places, we'd go exploring.....when you were just a child
Inside the backpack, you'd I'd carry.....wading into the creek
Keep going on, till we round a corner.....trying to get peek

Each new step on the railroad track
And I don't know where I'm going but I do know where I've been
Caught inside of this wild world we are in

Went to the pool where we'd get all wet & the flat rock where you would play
Went further up where you'd build your forts and where you would play all day
Time rushes by like the river flowing.....carrying years away
You and your friends would just keep on growin...Now you are all away

I don't regret anything that's happened....learning from my mistakes
Living this life there's no turning back and what we had time can't take
