Kind of a country flavor, Neil Young feel to it. Messing around with minor 7th and major 7th chords here and there for variety. Nice rolling rhythm laid down by Charlie Kleeman on bass and Ryan McLain on drums. Nice flute break by Larry Hoffmann. Up in the Air started playing this song in the late eighties and had it on the set list into the early 2000's.
