Heart of the Jungle

from Big Storm by Up in the Air

/

about

After a rain, I was taking a walk in the woods above our house. Everything was green wet and dripping, and the chorus of this song crept into my head. I kept singing this over and over, and when I returned home I had started to form some lyrics and midway thru realized how the meaning of Jungle could be interpreted. Musically, the calypso type song grew easily, and, I just couldn't help putting some interesting twists on the rhythm.
